
The ShokacCube™ is soft and flexible by itself, and can be embedded into the soft substrates. The humanoid fleshy exterior can be realized by ShokacCube™ with the natural soft feel (discomfort less of hardness) when it is pinched or stroked. As another benefit, number of sensors per area can be minimized in exterior because of less non-sensing area by its flexibility.

ShokacChip™ is the tactile sensor with small-high sensitivity based on MEMS technology. Realizing high sensitivity for 3 dimensional axis by processing 3 piezoelectric elements and locating them at 3 dimensional axis on the 2mm² chip out of a wafer. Additionally, it is possible to change softness of sensor by changing the plastic material covering silicon chip.
